CNN-based audio segmentation toolkit. Allows to detect speech, music, noise and speaker gender. Has been designed for large scale gender equality studies based on speech time per gender.

speakr: A Wrapper for the Phonetic Software Praat
Record, concatenate and synchronize Twitch live streams and remove background music
R package for phonetic research and experimenting
A Praat script for creation of pictures (waveform, spectrogram, pitch contour, aligned with a textgrid). It creates figures in PNG PDF wmf eps, PraatPic, of all the Sound and TextGrid files it finds in a folder. The pictures contain a waveform (optional), a spectrogram(optional), the F0 track optional and a the content of the tiers of the TextGrid associated with the sound file optional
Gentle and praatio scripts for easy forced alignment
A small wrapper package around whisper-timestamped. Create force-aligned transcription TextGrids from raw audio!
Command-line interface which provides methods to modify TextGrids (.TextGrid) and their corresponding audio files (.wav).
A Whisper to TextGrid script that I use to automatize Corpus Annotation on Praat, with speaker diarization.
Mahr, et al. (2015). Anticipatory coarticulation facilitates word recognition in toddlers.
Scripts for the acoustic-phonetic analysis of vowels
Useful bits for speech analysis, machine learning, coding, etc.
A Praat script for Sp_ToBI and Cat_ToBI intonational annotation. It needs a TextGrid with syllable segmentation and stressed syllable mark.
A set of Praat scripts to analyze vowels: 1) extracting data (F0, F1, F2, F3, F4, interval duration (ms) and intensity (dB)) and 2) extracting whole formant data. Scripts for extracting data from point tiers are also avaliable
Automatically sync, mix and draw virtual choir videos from raw tracks of individual recordings. You don't need video editing skills or additional software. You need sample files (audio or video) for each part (soprano, alto, ...), that are already in sync like mp3 exports of a midi file.
Speech Tester is a set of Python scripts conceived as an extension to HTK Automatic Speech Recognition system (Young et al., 2002). Speech Tester aims to help language researchers and engineers to measure the intelligibility of transformed audio signals. Here the termed “transform” may describe any process that alters a speech signal or its reception by a potential listener. For instance, any type of audio compression, noise background and/or reverberation, vocoding (to simulate cochlear implants), partial auditory loss, or any combination of these and other imaginable transformations. Intelligibility refers to the capacity of a listener to recognize a transformed signal. In the rest of this introduction we describe the motivation to develop Speech Tester to measure speech intelligibility.

An enhanced automatic stylizer for pitch (contour) of speech corpora derived from SLAM.
A utility to find the best audio matches for videos and sync them together, perhaps for your films
Compare graphs of detected Fundamental Frequency contours: Praat vs MATLAB. Used Cepstrum in MATLAB to detect Fundamental Frequency (Pitch) in speech.
Ce tutoriel a été développé pour les travaux dirigés du cours de Master de Phonétique à l'Université de Paris (2018). Il peut néanmoins servir de guide à d’autres utilisateurs débutants de Praat pour l'analyse acoustique de la parole.
