Pareidolia is the tendency for perception to impose a meaningful interpretation on a nebulous stimulus, usually visual, so that one sees an object, pattern, or meaning where there is none; meanwhile face pareidolia defines as some face like images that are not real faces. the project aims to reveal their representational differences between human visual perception system and deep neural networks.

FacePareidolia

This project mainly focuses on differents between pareidolia and real faces and objects under the human visual perception system and VGG16 as the most human like neural network.

The procedure includes many training programmings, statistichal tests, and very deeep thinks behind everything. plots, notebooks, training codes, model results and weights will be uploaded.
