Setup

cd ~/catkin_ws
git clone https://github.com/flolu/ros-gazebo-learning
cd ~/catkin_ws && \
source /opt/ros/noetic/setup.bash && \
source /usr/share/gazebo/setup.sh && \
catkin_make && \
source devel/setup.bash && \
export GAZEBO_MODEL_PATH=~/catkin_ws/src/ros-gazebo-learning/models:$GAZEBO_MODEL_PATH

Start Simulation

roslaunch ros-gazebo-learning create_world.launch --screen

Run Python Script

rosrun ros-gazebo-learning src/main.py

Set Position

rostopic pub -1 /gazebo/set_model_state gazebo_msgs/ModelState "model_name: 'box'
pose:
  position:
    x: 0.0
    y: 0.0
    z: 3.0"
