- Run the file
terrain_surface_distance.py
. It is a Python3 script which calculates surface distance between two points for two sets of height map (pre and post eruption) and returns the difference between them. - It requires 512 x 512 pixel height maps in two binary files titled "pre.data" and "post.data" in the root directory.
- It takes pixel coordinates of two points as an input. The coordinates must be within the range [0, 511] and should be passed as comma separated console input according to the input prompt.
