Vitesse - Opinionated Vite Starter Template

Mocking up web app with Vitesse(speed)

Live Demo

Deploying to Firebase

  1. Install Firebase CLI
  2. Authenticate with Google Account
$ firebase login
  1. To deploy to live (master) channel, run
$ firebase deploy
  1. To deploy to specific channels (such as dev or pr), run
$ firebase hosting:channel:deploy <CHANNEL_ID>

To redeploy to the same channel, run the same command with the same channel ID. Channel ID is required but can be anything. If the preview channel with given channel ID does not exist, it will create a new channel with the channel ID.

Note: No need to init firebase. It's already initialized in repo.

Why

I have created several Vite apps recently. Setting the configs up is kinda the bottleneck for me to make the ideas simply come true within a very short time.

So I made this starter template for myself to create apps more easily, along with some good practices that I have learned from making those apps. It's strongly opinionated, but feel free to tweak it or even maintains your own forks. (see community maintained variation forks)
