ensemble_oscillation_correction.jl
Code for "Ensemble Oscillation Correction (EnOC): Leveraging oscillatory modes to improve forecasts of chaotic systems"
predictability
Code for the paper "Local atmosphere–ocean predictability: dynamical origins, lead times, and seasonality"
ClimaLSM.jl
an in-progress prototype interface for the land model
DA_Tutorial
This is a 'hands-on' tutorial for the RIKEN International School on Data Assimilation (RISDA2018).
EnsembleKalmanProcesses.jl
Implements Optimization and approximate uncertainty quantification algorithms, Ensemble Kalman Inversion, and Ensemble Kalman Processes.
eviatarbach.github.io
A beautiful, simple, clean, and responsive Jekyll theme for academics
Land
Everything within the Land model (Soil Plant Atmosphere Module, Land Hydrology, etc)
LyapunovExponents.jl
A hackable Lyapunov exponents calculator
ncep-lectures
Crash course on using Python and other modern tools to analyze your satellite datasets
polygonization
Python 3 code for polygonizing CompuCell3D lattices. This currently works for epithelial tissue: for cells in the tissue a polygon is created from the vertices defined by lattice sites which contact multiple cells. For boundary cells, the part of them that protrudes outwards from the tissue is approximated with a circular arc.
Sahara-figures
Code for creating press release figures for the paper "Climate model shows large-scale wind and solar farms in the Sahara increase rain and vegetation"
UMD-lectures
In this tutorial, you will get a crash course on using Python to analyze your satellite datasets which can speed up the learning curve and improve research efficiency. We’ll cover the basics of the NetCDF and HDF self-describing data formats and demo basic analysis using Python and Jupyter Notebooks. This session will be beneficial for both experienced programmers who want overview of Python and also those just getting started with scientific programming..
