Liber

Welcome to Liber! Liber is an open book exchange where people can trade books they've already finished, never touched and everything in between. Liber offers a database of books currently availalbe for trading, as well as lets you establish a library of your own to put up for trading. In the spirit of open source, this application is meant to promote literacy, culture and community.

Installation

Clone this repository, run bundle install, and run using shotgun or rackup in your terminal. Visit either "localhost:9393" (for shotgun) or "localhost:9292" (for rackup) in your browser to get started!

Usage

Start off by signing up if you haven't already! You will be redirected to your account page, where you can immediately start adding books to your collection. Click "View All Available Books" to see all books currently available for trading. Click on "View All Available Owners" to see a list of book owners currently willing to trade! Click on a particular title to get more detailed information on that title. You can add, edit and delete books in your collection.
