DDEngine

DDEngine is a small engine developed in Unity, used to run Dirk Dagger series's games.

This engine and the port release is a part of the 5th EKA2L1 anniversary.

Feature

  • Able to work with OPES resource files, extracted from the original .n-gage package
  • Support GadgetScript, ActionScript: used for scripting the game logic
  • Allow higher and dynamic framerate, not bounded to 20 FPS like the original game engine

Usage

Some part of the code in this repository is currently configured to run the first game in the series: Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol.

Controls

On PC, use Arrow keys for navigation, and use Enter key for performing Action/interacting with the map.
