Experience in installing JdeRobot from source code at Github (it takes me a lot of time before I successfully installed JdeRobot): Installation manual: https://jderobot.org/Installation#From_source_code_at_GitHub

Requirement 1:

The ROS hasn't been installed on the computer before.

The installation of JdeRobot will install many dependencies including ROS. The installation is made automatically. If your computer has installed ROS before, the path to ROS and version will conflict with newly installed ROS dependencies, which causes failure of installing JdeRobot.

Requirement 2:

The Anaconda hasn't been installed on the computer before, or the environment variable of Anaconda in ./bashrc is forbidden.

The installation of JdeRobot will check and install OpenSSL in the computer. The Anaconda (often used for deep learning frameworks such as tensorflow) has equipped with a version of OpenSSL. During the installation of JdeRobot, the OpenSSL JdeRobot requires doesn't match the path and version of that OpenSSL in Anaconda. If your computer has installed Anaconda before, the solution is that you must cancel out the environment vairable of Anaconda in ./bashrc, and execute:

source ./bashrc

After doing that, you have to close the current terminal and open a NEW terminal to compile JdeRobot again.
