Overview

RETOPT is a Research and Development project which is based on two modules:

  • RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) Customer Segmentation
  • Hybrid Product Recommendation

Stakeholders

  • E-commerce Owner/Associates
  • E-commerce Platform User
  • Customer Analyst

Research Objective

  • Generate more robust RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) based Customer Segmentation.
  • Addressing “Cold Start” and “Adaptability” issues in recommendation system
  • Combining Content-Based, Collaborative Filtering, and Demographic-based recommendation system

Project Objective

  • Build a fully functional demo e-commerce website without any payment method.
  • Embed the models with the platform.
  • Provide Dashboards for the Analyst to analyze the customer, product, and sales.
