here is various stuff i found helpfull to run linux on my macbook hardware unless otherwise stated all files is licensed under BSD3 license of apple-backlight-1.cpp from app-laptop/apple-backlight/files/ is unknown. found it on http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10222928&postcount=18 to my knowledge, it's the most simple and reliable way to do gmux-based backlight control
