Compare Utility
Compare Utility is a comparison utility, where you can compare your local and remote files and many more with the following features.
Features
- Upload files to the remote location from development machine.
- Download files from the remote location to development machine.
- Remove files from remote.
- Remove files from local.
- Copy file path into clipboard.
And of course Compare Utility itself is open source with a public repository on GitHub.
Installation
Clone/Download and extract the latest pre-built release.
- Update "compare/config.php" file with your requirements, this file is documented you can read the comments in it.
- Upload "compare-remote.php" file and "compare" folder to the remote root location.
- From your local machine browse compare-source.php to see the compare result. (example: http://localhost/compare-source.php)
- If you followed the instructios properly you will get the compare result.
Note: Try to minimize the scan-list to speed up the things in your life.
