This is a React app that displays public holidays for a selected country and year. Navigate to app.
- Clone the repository:
git clone git@github.com:ysfelik1/react-public-holidays.git - Navigate to the project directory:
cd public-holidays-app - Install dependencies:
npm install - Install Bootstrap:
npm install bootstrap
After running npm install bootstrap, you can import Bootstrap in your React components like this:
import 'bootstrap/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css';- Start the development server: npm start
- Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000
- Select a country and year from the dropdown menus to see public holidays for that country and year.
- Learn if today is holiday
- See coming public holidays for next 7 days
- Select year and country to list public holidays
- Fork the repository
- Create a new branch:
git checkout -b feature-name - Make changes and commit:
git commit -m '<feature-name>' - Push to the branch:
git push origin <feature-name> - Create a pull request
