- connect to a monitor with HDMI
- login as user

- clone this repository
git clone https://github.com/xiubert/PiPhotoBooth.git
- navigate to photobooth directory
cd PiPhotoBooth
- make scripts executable:
chmod +x ./startPhotoBooth.sh
chmod +x lib/*.sh
- start the booth
./startPhotoBooth.sh
- position the camera where desired
- take photo by pressing button wired to GPIO (pin 11)
- preview will show for a few seconds to pose
- captured photo will be shown followed by most recent captures. photos will continue to cycle until another photo is taken, after which most recent will again cycle
- close with
ESC
thenctrl+c
to stop the booth script
- saved photos available in
PhotoBoothCycle
- script assumes user
pi
can executesudo
commands. this is needed to avoid permissions issues with showing photos viafbi
on/dev/tty
