Xenia version of FFmpeg

  • If you want to update FFmpeg, make changes to the configs and/or modify the premake files/generator please use a rebase strategy.
  • Do not change the config headers directly but only use the ./configure script (use fixup/ammend on the original commit when rebasing). The old command line options used are at the top of the config headers. For Linux, run the configure command on a minimal system installation (i.e. in a docker container), because your development machine may have additional headers/libs that will be discovered.
  • After changing the FFmpeg version and/or configure options, run the generate_premake.py script and fixup/ammend the changes into the Generate premake files commit.
