DLX is a powerful backtracking, depth-first algorithm that solves exact cover problems. This algorithm was popularized by Donald Knuth and this implementation is the latest revision of his DLX algorithm description which incorporates spacer nodes removing the need for option nodes to use left/right pointers.

Recently I have been investigating Temple OS and the features it contains. Temple OS is described as a "X86_64, multi-cored, non-preemptive, multi-tasking, ring-0-only, single-address_mapped (identity-mapped), operating system for recreational programming." The OS is commonly described as a modern x86_64 Commodore 64 machine where a programmer can 'peek' and manipulate memory freely, but beware of crashes! HolyC is the language that the entire OS is built off of and supports unique features such as absolutely no type checking, nested switch statements, switch statements implemented with jump tables, and so much more. The language is also the OS's shell, as almost everything is JIT compiled.
