[Vundle] is short for Vimbundle and is a [Vim] plugin manager.

Vundle-installer

Quick start

  1. Setup [Vundle]:

    $ git clone git@github.com:wxmcan/vundle.git in your home folder.
    $ mv vundle .vim
    $ ln -s ~/.vim/vimrc ~/.vimrc
    $ mkdir ~/.vim/bundle
    $ git clone https://github.com/gmarik/vundle.git ~/.vim/bundle/vundle
    
  2. Configure bundles:

    Sample .vimrc:

    set nocompatible               " be iMproved
    filetype off                   " required!
    
    set rtp+=~/.vim/bundle/vundle/
    call vundle#rc()
    
    " let Vundle manage Vundle
    " required! 
    Bundle 'gmarik/vundle'
    
    " My Bundles here:

  3. Install configured bundles:

    Launch vim, run :BundleInstall (or vim +BundleInstall +qall for CLI lovers)

    Windows users see Vundle for Windows

    Installing requires [Git] and triggers Git clone for each configured repo to ~/.vim/bundle/.
