Daily Blinkist downloader

Downloads the Free Daily from Blinkist. No Login required. Both German and English.

Installation

Install Python 3.6+ and run:

pip install --user git+https://github.com/ptrstn/dailyblink

Usage

You can download all freely available blinks from that day by just running:

python -m dailyblink

By default, all blinks are saved in your home directory under Musik/blinks. One folder per book.

Example:

Custom output path

If you want to specify a different path where to store the blinks, you can pass the --path argument.

For example, you could use --path . to download in the current working directory:

dailyblink --path .

Restrict languages

If you only want to download blinks from only a certain language you can pass the --language argument following the languages you would like to be used.

For example (de for German, en for English):

dailyblink --language de en

optional arguments:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  --version             show program's version number and exit
  -p PATH, --path PATH  Path of where the blinks should be saved. Default: ~/Musik
  -l {en,de} [{en,de} ...], --language {en,de} [{en,de} ...]
                        Language of the free daily. Default: english german
