Removes unused symbols from an annotation feature class symbol collection

  1. Install the AddIn
  2. Open the Customize menu
  3. Find the group Add-In Controls
  4. Drag and drop the command "Remove Unused Symbols" to a toolbar
  5. Select the annotation layer in the TOC
  6. Click the command
