React.js Installation Guide

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following software installed on your system:

• Node.js (version 12 or higher)
• npm (Node Package Manager)

Installation Steps

Follow the steps below to install React.js:

1. Open your terminal or command prompt.

2. Create a new directory for your React project:

mkdir my-react-app
cd my-react-app

3. Initialize a new Node.js project using npm:

npm init -y

4. Install React and ReactDOM packages:

npm install react react-dom

5. Optionally, you can install Create React App globally for quickly setting up a new React application:

npm install -g create-react-app

Usage

To start a new React application using Create React App, execute the following command:

npx create-react-app my-app
cd my-app
npm start

This will start the development server and open your new React application in a new browser window.
