HFSizeCalc is a browser extension that provides users with an easily digestible overview of the total weight file size for Hugging Face models repository.

Installation (For Chrome)

1. Clone this repository to your local machine or download it as a ZIP archive and extract the files.
2. Open Google Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
3. Enable the developer mode by toggling the switch at the top right corner of the page.
4. Click on the "Load unpacked" button located at the top left corner of the page.
5. In the file dialog that appears, select the HFSizeCalc folder (the root folder of this repository) that you cloned or extracted earlier. Then, click "Select Folder."
6. HFSizeCalc extension will be added to your Chrome browser as an unpacked extension.

How to Use

Once the extension is installed, navigate to the Hugging Face repository page (e.g., https://huggingface.co/your_model_name). The extension will automatically display the total weight file size in the repo header.
