Feature request: Optional Generator maximum runtime

Feature request from a customer:
I suggest that an optional generator maximum runtime be considered.
I have just shut the generator down on a site where generator was started on voltage and because of a battery balancing issue, was unable to reach shutdown voltage and has been running for nearly 20 hours as a result.
Maybe better having an alarm which is raised when the generator runs more than X hours
