##Why Acorn? Acorn works great with NodeJS and it works in any JS-enabled browser more recent than IE5. Comparing to Esprima, Acorn has better performance in browsers like Chrome and Firefox. It runs faster than Esprima by 5%-20%. Acorn API is also well-documented, which is easy for any Javascript developer to pick up.
