Submit local fastas via API?

Is there a way to submit local fasta files to the server via the API, as is possible on the website? Instead of URLs for the file?

I am trying to use the Datamonkey API to submit jobs. I am going off this tutorial here to make a script to submit jobs to the datamonkey server. I have a task going over multiple files and automation would be helpful but my online storage is not conducive to this. The url links for the fasta files are somewhat random. Sending local files would be the easiest alternative.

Is this possible with the current implementation of the API?
