Features

• (Implemented parts of) the protocol is fully tested
• Server is decoupled from control (via redis pubsub) - the connection can remain open permanently
  • Writing a web front end for this should be easy

Implemented parts of the Protocol:

• Switch view
• Send image
• Toggle Radio
• Toggle Mute
• Change radio frequency
• Set Volume
• (Extra) Helper to convert images to the required format

Missing:

• Set time
• Animations
• Weather
• Calendar
• Notifications

Things I do not understand

How to set brightness to an absolute value:

Sending 0x32 (brightness) with different levels has always the same output: the brightness cycles between OFF, LOW, MED, HIGH

Sending 0x74 does allow me to do OFF, LOW, HIGH reliably.. but from the app I can set more brightness levels
