Chaosagent - A speaking search agent

Chaosagent is a tool for automating (and filtering) searches with Yahoo, 
converting search results to RSS feed, collecting a list of RSS feeds, 
filter them for regexp and generate a new feed or for just looking up the 
weather outside.
Chaosagent can present results in text and speech mode (using festival). 
It can read search results and if you like download all found urls and 
dump them to your disk.

////[ Installation

1. Make sure you have installed festival
(e.g. on Debian like systems apt-get install festival)

2. Run install.sh to install required Perl modules via CPAN
(If you were ask about manual configuration say no, otherwise hit enter.)


////[ Howto use it

1.Edit queries.xml and enter your search terms and unwanted keywords, urls
and filetypes

2. Get a cup of coffee or something similiar.

3. Exec ./chaosagent.pl -f queries.xml

Want an RSS feed of found URLs?
./chaosagent.pl -f queries.xml -o output_dir

Want to hear website summaries?
Exec ./chaosagent.pl -f queries.xml --summary

Want to dump all found urls?
Exec ./chaosagent.pl -d -f queries.xml -o dumpdir

Want to get weather data?
Exec ./chaosagent.pl -w <your_location>

The agent should read your latest news?
Exec ./chaosagent.pl -r rssfeeds.xml

Want to get an rss feed with your latest filtered news?
Exec ./chaosagent.pl -r rssfeeds.xml -o . --quite

Configure festival voice:
apt-get install festvox-rablpc16k
echo "(set! voice_default 'voice_rab_diphone)" >> /etc/festival.scm
