YF-S201 flow rate sensor will help to measure the water amount flowed and the banana pi is the development board which do the processing and communication part. CoAP is used as the application layer protocol. Maple mini bootloader is installed inside the banana pi and it allows to do programming as in Arduino. All the pins in banana pi are interrupt pins.
