This is an extremely one-page website. Fully configured, its only external dependencies are a favicon and share preview image. Most of the time, this isn't the best way to set up a website. But if you're in a hurry, and/or only putting up one page, it's a great way to get going quickly.
These are the steps you need to take (and the steps you should take) to set up this site.
- β Netlify setup workflow completed
- β Domain name registered & pointed
- β Page title set in three places
- β Description set in three places
- β Color scheme updated (optional)
- β Background image added (if using)
- β Nice to have: Share preview image set in two places.
- β Nice to have: Analytics (google, facebook, etc) added to the page
- β Nice to have: Set a favicon
- β Headline set (or removed)
- β Site's full address (https://example.com) added to the end of the Facebook share button link (or button removed).
- β
Prewritten tweet set in the Twitter link's
data-tweet
attribute (or button removed). - β Nice to have: URL Encode tweet text and add to the end of the Twitter link (remove the
data-tweet
attribute if you do).
- β
Ctrl + F for

and check you've added the content or removed the element. If you've done all the other steps, you shouldn't find anything.
