How to make a classic mate ?
- Heat the water but do not let it boil, let it heat until the water creates bubbles.
- While the water is not squeaking, put yerba mate in the bowl until you fill 3/4 of the bowl
- As soon as the water begins to warm, cover the mouth of the gourd with your hand and turn it over, then put warm water on the side that has no weed and let it swell the mate. Do not swell with boiling water!
How to make a good one for those who never took mate ?
