The NoShortsYT Chrome Extension is a tool designed to help you reduce distractions and save time by blocking the appearance of YouTube Shorts on YouTube. YouTube Shorts are short-form videos that can sometimes lead to unproductive browsing and time wastage. This extension prevents these Shorts from showing up in your YouTube feed, allowing you to focus on more meaningful content.

Search on Chrome Web Store for NoShortsYT and install it from there.
- Download the extension files to your local machine or clone the repository using:
git clone https://github.com/tushgaurav/NoShortsYT-
Open Google Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/. -
Turn on the "Developer mode" toggle in the upper-right corner of the page.

Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you downloaded/cloned the extension files.

The NoShortsYT extension will now be installed and ready to use.

Once the extension is installed, visit the YouTube website.

You will notice that YouTube Shorts no longer appear in your feed.

You can toggle the extension on/off by clicking its icon in the Chrome toolbar.
