Scoring and Grading

  • For a project assignment to recieve a grade, all previous assignments must be submitted and recieved a grade.
  • All assignments must be done in order.
  • Each Assignment has a point value, shown below.
  • Satisfactory assignment submissions will receive full points.
  • Unsatisfactory submissions must be improved and re-submitted until satisfactory.
  • Proposal Presentations and Demonstrations are live presentations
    • Satisfactory live presentations must be rendered on the assigned date and time for full points
    • Unsatisfactory live presentations, or no live presentation, will receive zero points
    • There is no opportunity to re-submit or make up live presentations
    • Live presentations are not required to advance to subsequent assignments

14 points total, so each point is worth 1/14th of the Project grade, which is 25% of the final grade. So each point is approximately 1.8% of the final grade.

Team Rules

  • Team members must all be in the same course section
  • Teams of less than two members require explicit written permission
  • Teams of more than three people require explicit written permission
