Face mask filtration visualization

(FMVIZ)

Repository supporting the viz available at https://tsipkens.github.io/fmviz/. This viz examines the filtration properties of common materials, using the data from Rogak et al. (2021). Filtration and pressure drop are two of the most important properties of face masks. A sample starting plot is shown below. In the actual viz, the user can hover over the circles to see information on the material.

In this primary plot, dashed lines correspond to lines of constant quality, which is a quantity denoting a hybrid of good filtration and low pressure drop. The current plot uses using the natural number as a base and pressures in kPa.

More information is available in the web app.
