This sample web application demonstrates how-to use native SAP HANA search (fuzzy and linguistic) in Java applications running on SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

Here is a basic description of the project. The structure is as follows:
com.sap.hana.cloud.samples.search - contains SearchDemoServlet which is used as demo db - classes which are used for database access
You can run "HANA Search Demo" application only on the Cloud.
Running on the Cloud
- from command prompt run "mvn clean install" to build war file
- deploy war file to the cloud
- navigate to SearchDemoServlet URL, and try the search
For transparency and insight into our release cycle, and for striving to maintain backward compatibility, the SAP HANA Cloud - Samples project will be maintained under the Semantic Versioning guidelines as much as possible.
Releases will be numbered with the following format:
<major>.<minor>.<patch>
And constructed with the following guidelines:
- Breaking backward compatibility bumps the major (and resets the minor and patch)
- New additions without breaking backward compatibility bumps the minor (and resets the patch)
- Bug fixes and misc changes bumps the patch
