Installation Instructions
Tormater forum will run on any computer/server with Apache 2.0, MySQL/MariaDB and PHP 7.4. This software has been tested on the following Linux distributions: Debian 11, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04.
The following instructions will install Tormater forum on most Linux distributions, and even Windows if you're patient enough.
- Install the latest versions of the following software: Apache 2, MySQL, PHP. You will also need the PHP-MySQLi plugin.
- Setup the software. You will want to create a MySQL user with a native password and a MySQL database for the forum to use.
- Navigate to your forum, and fill out the installer with your MySQL details.
- Then, type in the username, email, and password for your Administrator account.
- Enjoy! It should be smooth sailing from here.
