Just about every color in Material Flat is derived from your accent color, and will adapt to both light and dark themes with ease!
No need for preset colors or complex menus, simply set your color of choice in Obsidian > Settings > Appearance and enjoy.
Skip the thumb-stretching. Access a button of your choice on the bottom-right. Install the Commander plugin to customise the FAB command to your liking.

Obsidian's default translucency does not play well with themes, and causes servere lag on windows. Material Flat allows for proper translucency support through the window manager - including support for native-style wallpaper tinting on mac and windows.
- Set the following settings in Settings -> Appearance Base color scheme: Adapt to System Translucent Window: Off Window Frame Style: Native Frame (Requires restart)
- Enable translucency in Style Settings (Settings -> Style Settings -> Material Flat -> Appearance -> Enable Transparency Support) STEPS 3-5 ARE ONLY REQUIRED ON WINDOWS
- Download and install Mica for Everyone
- Open Mica for Mica for Everyone and add a process rule for Obsidian
- Set the following for Obsidian in Mica for Everyone: Titlebar Color: System Backdrop Type: Mica, Tabbed, or Acrylic (as desired) Extend Frame Into Client Area: On Blur Behind: Off (default)
