Kinetic Courier IOT Notifier

Description:

A 3D printed case and electronics, used as an alert system for IOT events.

Required Hardware:

• raspberry pi zero W
• Adafruit pi bonnet
• Adafruit Verter Buck-Boost Converter
• Adafruit micro-servo
• Adafruit 12V solenoid
• Standard Desk Bell
• 12V Power Supply
• Optional but highly recommended: right-angle micro-usb to barrel connector
• misc metric scews/nuts, steel
• F-to-F jumper wires

Fabrication:

• 3D print files in STL_files folder
• Assemble components, test, and insert into case

Configuration:

Install required libraries, python programs and run scripts. See tutorial at hackster.io/thisoldgeek

* Defaults on Startup *

• Startup routine runs: NeoPixels display, servo waves a flag, bell rings

* Quiet Time Settings *

• Default - no alerts will sound between hours of 9PM/21:00 and 7:00AM

REQUIRED:

• username and key for adafruit.io; feeds setup on adafruit.io
