This is a work in progress and will not work right out of the box, or possibly at all
This repo represents my attempts to build a resaonable PrivacyIdea docker image.
Currently this is just for testing, it does not work and therefore no production recommendations are made.
The following will create a folder at /tmp/privacyidea-data
to store persistant data (sqlite database, various keys)
make docker # build the docker image
make admin # initialize the database and keys if needed, then create the first user named admin
make runserver # start the development server on port 5000
Alternatives/what about...
- The official one doesn't seem to have been updated since 2014. It uses Ubuntu Trusty and doesn't seem like it will work with current privacyidea. I did not actually try.
- This one, referenced on the forums, uses supervisord and runs a number of processes in the container, including the database server (!?).
