Scripts to easily join, split and extracts mkv files. Also has scripts to do lossless convertion of mkv to mp4 (with subtitles) and mp4 to mkv. The scripts can also extract all fonts and subtitles from a set of mkvs. Also contains a Java app for creating mkv chapters. {#description}

Usage

• extract_mkv_fonts.sh {path}
  extracts all fonts from the specified mkvs

• extract_mkv_subs.sh
  extracts all fonts from the specified mkvs

• mkv_funs.sh
  Contains mkv function which will print the full help if given no arguments

• amkv   Extract the aac audio from a mkv file

• jmkv   Joins mkvs

• smkv   splits the specified mkv

• tmkv   Extract the section of video between two time

• kmkv   Keep only ith part of the spitting

• rfmkv  Remove first part of the split

• simkv  Spilt the specifed split

• amkv   Extract the aac audio from a mkv file

• amkv   Extract the aac audio from a mkv file

• gmkv   go to join mkv folder

Prerequisites

• mkvtoolnix (mkvmerge, mkvextract)
• MP4Box and mediainfo for convention of mkv.

Install

• Put the extract_mkv_fonts and extract_mkv_subs.sh in your $PATH
• source mkv_funs.sh and encoding.sh from your .bashrc
