- Anybox ★★★★ - best bookmark storage app (Sub: $15/yr, lifetime: $40)
- GoodLinks ★★★ - quite good for the purpose (Paid: $5)
- Working Copy ★★★★ - as far as git on mobile goes - this is probably the best one can get. (Paid: $20)

- fontcase ★★★ - font manager for iOS.
- Bear ★★★ - note taking (Subscription: $30/year).
- Craft ★★★★ - note taking and organizing app (Subscription: $60/year, with a good free tier).
- Evernote ★★★ - the workhorse of a note taking app. Low friction, high usability. Lots of integrations. Used to be great, now it's getting worse (and slower) with every release. (Subscription: ~$99/year, but frequent discounts ~40%).
- Mela ★★★★★ - simple, elegant and modern recipe manager. (Paid: $5)
- Ulysses ★★★★★ - writing app (Subscription: $50/year).
- Evernote Scannable ★★ - used to be the best, now it's not usable. Cannot save scanned images to photos.
- Adobe Scan: PDF & OCR Scanner ★★ - requires account! (Subscription: $10/m).
- Scanner Pro ★★★ - too many buttons and clicks, and useless functions, e.g. storing scans in iCloud requires pro, but syncing with iCloud doesn’t. Weird UI. Not a straightforward flow (e.g. saves docs to its own internal storage, and requres manually “exporting” them outside). Some basic functionality is free, but full featured app is not. (Paid: $30)
- iScanner ★★ - lots of functions, most of which, when clicked - popup a "Pro" screen, asking for money. Convoluted workflow (lots of taps required to scan and save to photos). Scans don’t look great. (Paid: $15)
- Tiny PDF Scanner ★★ - lots of functions, most of which, when clicked - popup a “Premium” screen, asking for money. Convoluted workflow (lots of taps required to scan and save to photos), scans don’t look great. (Paid $3)
- Prizmo ★★★★ - Currently seems to be the best iOS scanner app out there. Does everything Scannable used to do and more. (Paid €24)
- Meditation ★★★ - the app doesn't look much, but has 1 great feature: you can use any mp3 with guided meditation or music and customize everything else and the app will sync your mindfulness minutes to the Apple's Health app. And it's free!
- Lichess ★★★ - less bloated than the chess.com and has unlimited free puzzles.
- SongShift ★★★ - transfer playlists between music services (Subscription, $20/y).
- Blank Spaces ★★★ - Remove all distraction from your iPhone: provides blank widgets, dock-hiding wallpapers, and a simple widget with a textual list of the most important apps. (Subscription: €15/y, lifetime: €25).
- Fantastical ★★★★★ - probably the best calendar app for mac (Subscription ~€44/yr)
- Parcel ★★★★ - Tracks deliveries and can automatically fetch amazon orders! (Subscription ~€3.5/yr)
- Things ★★★★★ - Best task manager (Paid: $10).
- Readwise Reader ★★★★ - A fantastic read-it-later app that in conjunction with the readwise service (syncing highlights between your reader, books, kindle and your pkn/notes apps) is unstoppable (Sub: $96/yr while in beta).
- Reeder ★★★★★ - The best RSS reader for Apple devices (Paid: $10).
- Spark ★★*★ - Email client from Readdle. One of the best out there (if you're using anything else than gmail) (Basic: free, full featured, including some AI: €70/yr).
