Rope2 is a Unity3D project it uses physic components to built a rope and to make the rope look more realistic. This project is just built to test the rope functionaliy and serves no other purpose.

Prerequisites

  • Unity3d
  • Git
  • Visual Studio
  • Tangible Engine( Will be preinstalled in Ideum Touch PCs)
  • Source Tree (Optional for version control)
  • Gimp (optional for custom icons)

Installation

Clone the project. To open the scene browse to folder ~/Assets/Scene and double click to open the scene.

Usage

 ( BASIC )
 1. Simply add this script to the object you want a rope teathered to
 2. In the "LineRenderer" that is added, assign a material and adjust the width settings to your likeing
 3. Assign the other end of the rope as the "Target" object in this script
 4. Play and enjoy!
