Untheme is a clean, empty base theme for developers. It supports and includes an example for navigation, a widget sidebar, pagination, and a custom post type - all without plugins!
- Upload the contents of this repository to a new directory in
wp-content/themes. - Click "Activate".
For optimized WordPress settings, follow these steps.
- In "Settings -> Permalinks" click "Post name" and save.
- In "Settings -> Media" uncheck "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders" and save.
- In "Appearance -> Menus" click "Save Menu" and check "Display location - Primary Menu".
- In "Appearance -> Widgets" drag a widget to "Sidebar" to view them in action.
