My personal filetype specific settings
- to override default settings, need to put files in 'after' directory instead of 'ftplugin' http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Keep_your_vimrc_file_clean
- default is set by filetype.vim in $VIMRUNTIME
- selectively override filetype detection here
