Curriculum Advisory Committees
This repository serves as a public record of meeting notes and decisions made by the Software Carpentry Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC).
Information about CAC structure and duties can be found in The Carpentries Handbook. Current CAC membership can be accessed on the Software Carpentry website.
How to Contact the Curriculum Advisory Committee
The Curriculum Advisory Committee can be reached by email at curriculum-advisors-swc@lists.carpentries.org or in GitHub by including "@swcarpentry/curriculum-advisors" in the text of an Issue, Pull Request, or comment.
Lesson Maintainers can use the GitHub team tag to assign an Issue or Pull Request to their Curriculum Advisory Committee.
Community members and Maintainers can also notify The Carpentries Core Team of any issues they would like brought to the CAC's attention by emailing team@carpentries.org.

How to Record Minutes
For each meeting, the CAC Secretary will create a minutes file with a title of the format MONTH-YYYY-minutes.md (e.g. March-2022-minutes.md).
The Secretary will submit a pull request. The Chair will review the pull
request, make any necessary changes, and approve the minutes by merging the pull request.
Each set of minutes should include:
- Date and time of meeting
- Names of those in attendance
- Agenda items discussed and a summary of each discussion
- The outcomes of any votes taken
