The Synthetic Patient Data in OMOP Dataset is a synthetic database released by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Claims Synthetic Public Use Files (SynPUF). It is synthetic data containing 2008-2010 Medicare insurance claims for development and demonstration purposes. It has been converted to the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) common data model from its original form, CSV, by the open source community as released on GitHub. This public dataset is hosted in Google BigQuery.
