Small chrome extension which removes distractions (recommendations and shorts) from the YouTube homepage.
The extension runs only on the YouTube website, and doesn't log any of your activity.
Currently not available on the Chrome Web Store as the extension is experimental, but you can install following the instructions below. An issue or PR if you find any problems is greatly appreciated.
Installation
- Clone the git repo to your local machine
- Open Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensions/ - Turn on Developer mode with the switch in the top right corner
- Press the "load unpacked" button
- Select the repo folder you cloned previously
