The package srv_tools has been released. Waiting for merge in ros/rosdistro#5812 . Nice idea @vrabaud

well, good stuff should be out :) Couldn't some of it be part of upstream ? like making video and such can be quite useful. Or at least, the official package should recommend it :)

This metapackage started as a wrap of all the small scripts we were using in order to make our lifes easier. It's a compendium of "this" and "that" somehow mixed, somehow organized. I believe the different subpackages would have to live in different upstream packages in order to be released in the basic ROS packages.
It's a long term integration that can be useful to the whole community. Right now I don't have the time to perform such a task but it's something I'd like to do sometime.
