The is an application design for the LoungeBoard Display project, an on-going project runs by the Interaction Ecology Group in School of Information, University of Michigan.
LoungeBoard combines multiple public displays and a fast proximity sensing system in order to fast detect the people in a room-level area. The LoungeBoard display will show up different content according to who are in the room. This LoungeBoard mobile application allows users to easily register the LoungeBoard service, as well as activating the Bluetooth discoverable mode in order to be detected by the service.
