Rules:
Unix + Unix = '>'
Unix + DOS = '<'
Unix + Mac = '+'
DOS + Unix = '-'
DOS + DOS = '.'
DOS + Mac = ','
Mac + Unix = '['
Mac + DOS = ']'
Usage:
$ le2bf --help
