This repository contains a modified version of the KOCMOC SVF filter, originally created by janne808. The modifications include a new PCB layout and panel design that are intended to be more user-friendly and visually appealing, while preserving the core functionality of the original circuit.
The original KOCMOC SVF filter was designed by janne808 and released under the CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2 - Strongly Reciprocal. I would like to thank janne808 for creating the original circuit and making it available under an open license, which allowed me to build upon it and create this modified version.
The modifications to the KOCMOC SVF filter consist of a new PCB layout and panel design, which were created to better fit my personal design system and style. Some of the specific changes include:
- Re-arranged and labeled the in- and outputs on the panel for readability.
- Changed the dimensions of the PCB and panel to better fit my preferred module size and layout.
- Updated the panel design to match my personal style, including typography and design elements.
This modified version of the KOCMOC SVF filter is also released under the CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2 - Strongly Reciprocal, which requires that any modifications or derivatives of the original work are also released under the same license. This means that you are free to use, modify, and distribute this modified version as long as you comply with the terms of the license.
Caution! The frequency potentiometer is wired backwards, you'll have to modify this yourself.
If you want to use or build upon this modified version of the KOCMOC SVF filter, you can clone or download this repository and use the files as you would any other open hardware project. You will find all the necessary files, including schematics, PCB layout, and panel design in the "respected" folder. There are files included to manufacture the board, panel (and assembly) at JLCPCB. However, please note that not every part is supplied by JLC and you will need to source some of these parts yourself.
