This workshop is meant to help data professionals transform raw data into compelling dashboards. We will use Tableau Public to learn how to create dashboard reports from a customer complaints dataset. This data will help you better understand the issues financial customers are experiencing with certain products. During this workshop, you can expect to learn how to use Tableau to ingest, transform, visualize, and use data to design a functional dashboard you can publish and share online. These dashboarding concepts can be used with varying types of datasets so you can quickly transform data into usable information. Attendees can expect to learn how to build dashboards in Tableau Public and use the free software to further develop their data visualization skills.

We will be using Public Tableau during this course. You will need to set up a few things on your own computer.
- Download and install Public Tableau.
- Download the course material and data from the GitHub repository: https://github.com/ocrug/tableau-2021-03-09
- If you do not know how to use Git, download the course files.
- If you do know how to use Git, clone the repo onto your computer.
